Sri Lanka is a tropical country and is hot and humid for many parts of the year. The average temperature is between 27℃- 31℃. It’s important that guests bring plenty of sunscreen, hats, and light clothing to prevent sunburn and excessive tanning! The South-Western monsoon lasts between May and September and if guests are travelling during these months, intermittent showers and a slightly cooler climate can be anticipated.

Allow yourself to be welcomed by our representative with all the warmth characteristic of the island and its people. While you will kickstart your adventure on the following day, languish in the comforts of the coastal city of Negombo on the day prior to your departure. In its own right, Negombo is a fascinating site for a little exploration. Scattered in this area are sites of historic
significance, with colonial attractions such as the Old Dutch Fort, the Hamilton Canal, and religious sites such as the Angurukaramulla Temple, open for some quick sightseeing. The area is also brought to life with a string of lively restaurants, bars, and cafes, which travellers can visit to enjoy either delectable local or intercontinental dishes, whichever you prefer!

Travel to the heart of the Hill Country and arrive in the historic city of Kandy. Once here, you will proceed to the Knuckles Mountain Range for a thrilling trek through the wilderness. Flanked by the majestic Mahaweli River and by the wide plains of Matale, the mountains rightly resemble a clenched fist to distant observers. The changing terrain of grasslands and rugged mountain peaks, all of which are interwoven with stunning natural wonders such as waterfalls and streams, make it the perfect expedition for a bright and beautiful morning. Covering an area of around 18,512 hectares of lands, the trek is one that will soothe your soul with its breathtaking vistas of the countryside.

taking place all over the country. Visitors here can truly experience the everyday aspects of rural life in Sri Lanka, while sharing a smile with the friendly villagers. What makes this village truly remarkable, however, is its breathtaking beauty. Following your expedition to Meemure, board a train and make the unforgettable journey into the hills. The journey to Ella is often cited as one of the best to undertake on train, given the breathtaking scenery you pass along the way.
